If you are releasing your music for public consumption then yes. ISRC is a way to assign a unique identifier to a song so that credit for it's creation can be assigned to the right people. Once your song is ready for release and distribution then you should get an ISRC code.

It depends on what you consider a site to be but as far as an online presence, yes it is absolutely possible for you to get that for free. In terms of a music-focused website, we would recommend sites like Band Camp or Noise Trade. These sites will enable you to upload your music and connect with fans. You are even able to collect email addresses using these sites. Of course, there will be limits on what you can do e.g. no blog but you can utilise other free platforms for that if you want.
Is it possible to get online marketing for free?
Well in a way it is. There is a lot you can do yourself that can help you get exposure online. While you will not have to spend any money, an investment of time will be needed. There are a lot of posts on the site that may be able to help you put together a marketing plan.
Should I get a music manager?
If they're good at what they do, then absolutely. At the end of the day, a good manager will get you more gigs, more exposure and more opportunities for your music so if you're worried about giving them a percentage, don't be. They only get paid when you get paid so it's in their interest to bring you as much success as possible.
What you want to avoid doing is getting a manager that you have to pay for upfront. Sometimes it can be worth it but more often than not, it's a rip-off.
